Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026  ·  Effective: 1 January 2026

Vivid Eastern Culture Technology Limited ("Vivid Eastern", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you when you use our mobile games, websites and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This policy applies to all Vivid Eastern games distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play and other authorised channels. Individual titles may publish a supplementary notice where local law or a specific feature requires additional disclosure; where a supplement conflicts with this policy, the supplement governs for that title.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Support correspondence — your email address and the contents of any message you send to our support team, including screenshots or attachments you choose to include.
  • Optional profile details — a nickname or avatar, where a game offers profiles, leaderboards or social features.
  • Third-party sign-in — if you choose to sign in with Apple, Google Play Games or a similar service, we receive a platform-issued user identifier and, depending on your settings, your display name and avatar. We do not receive your password.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, language and region settings, screen resolution, network type, time zone, and IP address (which we use in coarse form to infer country or region).
  • Identifiers — advertising identifiers (Apple IDFA, Google Advertising ID), vendor identifiers, and our own randomly generated in-game identifier used to save your progress.
  • Gameplay data — level progress, session start and end times, in-game actions, achievements, virtual currency and item balances, and settings you choose.
  • Diagnostics — crash logs, error traces, frame-rate and loading performance metrics.
  • Advertising and attribution data — which ads you were shown, whether an ad was viewed or clicked, and the marketing campaign a new installation is attributed to.

1.3 Purchase information

All payments are processed by the app store operating your device (Apple or Google). We never receive or store your full payment card number, bank details, or billing address. We receive only a transaction receipt or token that lets us verify the purchase and deliver the item you bought.

1.4 Information we do not collect

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera imagery, health data, or biometric data. We do not ask for your government identification. If a future feature requires any such data, we will request your permission through your device's standard permission prompt and update this policy before that feature launches.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain and deliver the Services, including saving and restoring your game progress;
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve stability and loading performance;
  • To analyse how our games are played so we can balance difficulty and improve level design;
  • To display advertising, including personalised advertising where you have consented, and to measure whether campaigns are effective;
  • To detect, investigate and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about service changes;
  • To comply with applicable law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — providing the game itself, saving progress, delivering purchases and handling support.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security and anti-fraud, aggregate analytics, and non-personalised advertising, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — personalised advertising and any use of device identifiers for advertising. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining records where law requires it, and responding to valid legal process.

4. Advertising and Third-Party SDKs

Our games are supported in part by advertising. To deliver and measure ads, and to run the Services, we integrate software development kits ("SDKs") from third parties. Depending on the title, these fall into the following categories:

  • App stores and platform services — Apple, Google (purchase validation, cloud save, sign-in).
  • Analytics — measuring feature usage, retention and funnel performance.
  • Advertising and mediation — serving ads and selecting which network fills each placement.
  • Attribution — determining which marketing campaign an installation came from, and deduplicating installs.
  • Crash reporting and cloud infrastructure — diagnostics, storage and content delivery.

These providers act as independent controllers or as our processors depending on the service, and handle data under their own privacy policies. The specific SDKs used by a given game are disclosed in that game's App Store privacy label and its Google Play Data safety section. You can obtain the current list for any title by emailing us.

Your advertising choices. On iOS, you can allow or deny tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and change it later under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation under Settings → Google → Ads. Opting out does not reduce the number of ads you see; it only makes them less relevant to you.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Services are general-audience products and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the higher minimum age set by your local law — for example 16 in certain EEA member states). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.

Where a title participates in a store's family programme, that title is configured to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Google Play's Families policy and Apple's Kids Category requirements: we disable personalised advertising, restrict data collection to what is strictly necessary to run the game, and use only ad providers certified as appropriate for child-directed traffic.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information without your consent, contact us at privacy@vivideastern.com and we will delete the information promptly.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except where you have given the consent described in Section 4. We disclose information only as follows:

  • Service providers — vendors who host, analyse, secure or support the Services under contract, and who may use the data only to provide those services to us.
  • Advertising partners — as described in Section 4, subject to your choices.
  • App store operators — to validate purchases, deliver entitlements and handle refunds.
  • Legal and safety — where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Vivid Eastern, our players or the public.
  • Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets. Any acquirer remains bound by this policy for information collected before the transaction, and we will notify you of any material change.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access — obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Rectify — correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Erase — request deletion of your personal information (see Section 8);
  • Restrict or object — limit or object to certain processing, including profiling for advertising;
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • Non-discrimination — exercise these rights without receiving a degraded service, as guaranteed under the CCPA/CPRA;
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vivideastern.com from the address associated with your request, and tell us the game name and your in-game ID if you know it. We may need to ask for limited additional information to verify your identity before we act — we will not use that information for any other purpose. We respond within 30 days, or within the shorter period required by your local law.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your game account and its associated personal information at any time by emailing privacy@vivideastern.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", or by using the in-game deletion option where a title provides one.

Deletion removes your progress, profile details, purchase entitlements and identifiers associated with your account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone — deleted progress and unconsumed virtual items cannot be restored, and no refund is issued for previous purchases. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain (such as transaction records kept for tax and accounting purposes) and backup copies, which are purged on our normal backup rotation cycle of up to 90 days.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In practice: gameplay and account data are retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after your last session; crash and diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days; advertising and attribution identifiers are retained for up to 13 months; and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. After these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

10. International Data Transfers

We operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including jurisdictions whose data protection laws differ from those of your home country. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguard by contacting us.

11. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored player records, role-based access control, least-privilege administrative access, and regular review of our vendors' security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law and within the applicable deadlines.

12. Do Not Track

Our websites do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no common standard for interpreting them has been adopted. We do honour the platform-level advertising controls described in Section 4, and Global Privacy Control signals where applicable law requires it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice — for example an in-game announcement or an interstitial prompt before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
